Biomedical Tissues secures CE Mark for its synthetic membrane. Biomedical Tissues, the French manufacturer of innovative high-end synthetic resorbable membranes, today announced it has secured a CE mark for Tisseos®, its landmark product. The CE Mark is an important step in Biomedical Tissues’ ongoing commercialization of its new synthetic membrane. « We are proud to have received the CE mark for Tisseos®. It is a key stamp of approval for our synthetic membrane as we begin to market it outside of France, » said Valérie Dumay, CEO & Founding Partner. «Tisseos® can make a real difference when it comes to increasing both dental surgeons’ control over procedures and patient comfort and its resorption capacities improve post-surgical patient care», added Alain Hoornaert, Dental Surgeon and Professor at the University of Nantes for Dental Implants. Biomedical Tissues’ unique patented production processes have enabled it to build a 3D matrix microfiber membrane that performs consistently highly even in difficult procedures, and which offers surgeons a carefully calibrated resorption time.
