  • so easy to use with no need for prior humidification as the microfibre layer quickly soaks up biological fluids
  • able to retain the form and shape you require and avoids sticking to soft tissue and instruments
  • imitates the structure of human collagen making it supple, strong and tear-resistant for tacking and suturing, if necessary
  • ideal for patients who avoid animal by-products for cultural reasons or lifestyle choices – widening treatable patient groups.

Dental Membrane Biomedical Tissues CE Mark
Biomedical Tissues secures CE Mark for its synthetic membrane.  Biomedical Tissues, the French manufacturer of innovative high-end synthetic resorbable membranes, today announced it has secured a CE mark for Tisseos®, its landmark product. The CE Mark is an important step in Biomedical Tissues’ ongoing commercialization of its new synthetic membrane. « We are proud to have received the CE mark for Tisseos®. It is a key stamp of approval for our synthetic membrane as we begin to market it outside of France, » said Valérie Dumay,  CEO & Founding Partner. «Tisseos® can make a real difference when it comes to increasing both dental surgeons’ control over procedures and patient comfort and its resorption capacities improve post-surgical patient care», added Alain Hoornaert, Dental Surgeon and Professor at the University of Nantes for Dental Implants. Biomedical Tissues’ unique patented production processes have enabled it to build a 3D matrix microfiber membrane that performs consistently highly even in difficult procedures, and which offers surgeons a carefully calibrated resorption time. And since Biomedical Tissues’ products do not contain any animal by-products, they are suitable for use by patients and customers the world over. The CE Mark will strengthen Biomedical Tissues position as it builds on its initial success with Tisseos® in the dental sector and extends its use for new applications in the healthcare and cosmetics sectors. Biomedical Tissues has already secured success for its product in France and is looking forward to extending its reach to other countries and regions.
